The former South Africa president Thabo Mbeki mediates the Zimbabwe power-sharing crisis.
However, according to Mr. Tsvangirai, there was no conclusion for the first day discussion, and will continue tomorrow at 1030.
President Robert Mugabe said that "continuing tomorrow means we have covered some area today".
The US state department spokesman expressed his concern about "Mugabe's overstepping the bounds of agreement."
The European Union also condemned Mugabe's "unilateral decision".
Cabinet's imbalanced power-sharing
Earlier this week, Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai condemned the imblance of cabinate power-sharing, 13 out of 15 seats were allocated to President Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF party.
The most important posts including defence, home, foreign affairs, and justice were allocated to Zanu-PF party, the Movement of Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangirai call for re-allocating the cabinate positions.
Can Mr. Mbeki solve the deal?
Mr Mbeki's spokesman said he was confident he would be able to rescue the deal, which he brokered just before he stepping down as president of South Africa.
And this is Mr Mbeki's first direct intervention since he resigned as South Africa's head of state.

kenya's New Coalition Cabinet
The newly elected Prime Minister from Kenya sworn in fron of dignitaries, including the former UN secretary-General Kofi Annan.
His oath not only began a new phase of his political career, but also the new era of Kenya.
The Coalition Cabinet
As suggested by the former UN chief Kofi Annan, the power-sharing deal between president Mwai Kibaki,and the newly elected Prime Minister Raila Odinga,is the major trait for today's Kenyan's politics.
However, it's no secret that the imbanlance between the power distribute of the conbinet.
As Mwai Kibaki's side still occupy the key sectors in the conbinet,such as finance, security, justice, and foreign affairs.
Some critics're worrying about the imbalance might harm Odinga's pary in the future.
The bitter memory between president and prime minster
The coalition between president and prime minister needs to overcome 2005' disagreement of power-sharing.
As well, in 2002, Mr. Mwai Kibaki didn't keep his promise of naming Mr. Raila Odinga as the prime minister after taking office.
Many people're concerned about the bitter memory might halt the power-sharing practice.
Pushy Prime Minister
Mr. Raila Odinga as considered to be pushy for his political career, his out-spoken manner has earned him a reputation as Kenya's justice crusader.
Kenyans're expecting his policy of eradicating the corruption,or at least reduce it in a lowest level.
